Building Skills. Creating Opportunities. Strengthening Resilience.

Through the Northeast RESET Project, implemented by TPO Nigeria with the support of UNDP, young people are being equipped with practical skills and knowledge to improve their livelihoods and build more resilient futures. As part of the project’s skills development component, participants are receiving hands-on training across a range of vocational and technical areas, including solar installation, tailoring, cosmetology, ICT, barbering, carpentry and leather works, among others. The training goes beyond the classroom, providing participants with practical experience and the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-life settings. In this session, trainees are engaged in practical learning on solar installation, gaining the technical skills needed to explore employment and entrepreneurship opportunities within their communities. By investing in skills development and livelihood opportunities, the Northeast RESET Project is supporting young people to become more self-reliant, while contributing to stronger, more resilient and sustainable communities across Northeast Nigeria.\r\nSkills for today.
